We passionately believe that you need to understand how you can tailor this product to your personal needs so you get the greenhouse you want. With this in mind we have constructed this page to be as user friendly as possible but still offer you ALL the major options available. The Elite Supreme is the 10ft 5ins Wide Greenhouse that you can build to your own specification. You choose the frame colour and the type of glazing you want. Add to this any of the many options available including a pre-formed base; bar capping; an integral partition; crestings and finials and more.

This professional greenhouse has many standard features such as double doors, an alloy shelf and 2 alloy side louvres. It has very strong end, side, roof and eave bracing. It is recognised as extremely robust and one of the strongest structures of its class and size. Please scroll down the page to familiarise yourself with what options are available.

Option 2 >>> Choose your Glazing Option?

We offer three different types of glazing. 3mm Horticultural Glass is pre-selected by default but you can upgrade to single sheet Toughened Glass or 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing here.

As Horticultural Glass is included in your frame price it is a NO COST option. The additional cost of Toughened Glass or Polycaronate Glazing is indicated below.

3mm HORTICULTURAL GLASS
Horticultural 3mm float glass as traditionally used in greenhouses. This is the standard minimum specification and is INCLUDED with your frame choice. There is no additional cost unless you upgrade to Toughened Glass or Polycarbonate Glazing which you can select below.
SINGLE SHEET TOUGHENED GLASS
Toughened to British Standard Class 6206 Grade A and European Standard EN12150 for maximum light and extra safety. All toughened glass models in this range utilise full sheet glass in the roof and side walls. This makes for a much cleaner line with no build up of moss or algae where the sheets of glass would normally overlap. Full sheet toughened glass is more expensive to produce than 2 or 3 smaller sheets, but we firmly believe it is the better option.

6mm TWINWALL POLYCARBONATE
Offers several very positive properties. As well as the safety element it is a superb insulator, with the air trapped between the inner and outer skin acting as a mini double glazing unit. This will reduce winter heating costs. To aid growing polycarbonate defracts the sun's rays twice as it passes through the twinwall. This effect disperses the light far more evenly around the greenhouse. Opaque in appearance and supplied in full sheet format.

Option 3 >>> Do I Need a Base?

Yes, quite simply you do. Greenhouse frames need to lip over a base (or upstand)  which also allows the door to lip under the frame. The base also gives you the required height needed inside your greenhouse. Without a base your greenhouse would be 5ins too low.

For such a large greenhouse as this you will need to have a brick base purposely built . As such the NO Alloy Base Required option below is pre-selected for you by default. A Preformed Alloy Base would not be substantial enough. Please click the link below for exact dimensions.

Select if you intend to build your own brick base. Note you CANNOT simply stand the frame on the ground or concrete some form of base (or upstand) must be used.

Option 4 >>> What is Bar Capping?

Bar capping is a continuous strip glazing system used instead of glazing clips. This gives a far neater streamlined apperance. It is made from PVC and is UVI treated. It is available in black , green or white. Not suitable for use with horticultural glass. Recommended for use with Full Sheet Toughened Glass. When using with polycarbonate do not use the rubber glazing gasket.@

Bar capping is a continuous strip glazing system used instead of glazing clips.

It is available in black , green or white.

Your Double Door Internal Partition is available in either milled silver aluminium or a powder coated coloured finish, with or without a base. You can also choose to have Bar Capping and all the glazing options are available. If you choose an Internal Partition you will need to tick 1 of the first 3 boxes below. You then add to your initial choice by ticking any other appropriate boxes. You may have to tick up to 4 check boxes. This is a complex option so please choose carefully!@

Option 7 >>> Dwarf Wall Modification

A dwarf wall modification is applied when you, the customer, require a building to be cut down in height and constructed on top of a wall to achieve a desired eaves or ridge height. A threshold is to be left in the wall to enable the door step height to be as low as possible

Features and Options include

  • These modifications can be applied to any Elite Greenhouse with the exception of Craftsman Integral Base model.
  • The Dwarf Wall option INCLUDES the Drop Door Modification (with low threshold) and consequently the tallest door possible will be supplied (up to 6ft 1ins) dependent upon your specific requirements.
  • We can work from the height of your dwarf wall OR from the required height you want the eaves to finish at.
  • The features depend upon the model chosen to modify.
  • Technical information also depends upon the model chosen to modify the desired heights.

Option 8 >>> Drop Door (Low Threshold) Modification

A drop door (low threshold) modification is applied when the overall height of any building needs to be increased, or you simply want a low threshold for easy wheelchair or wheelbarrow access. It involves a brick wall built by yourself to the desired height and a standard height building constructed on top. A threshold is left in the wall for the door(s) to be dropped into, to allow easy access for the user.

Features and Options include:

  • These modifications can be applied to any Elite Greenhouse with the exception of Craftsman Integral Base models and Roundhouse.
  • The features depend upon the model chosen to modify.
  • Technical information also depends upon the model chosen to modify the desired heights.

What you are buying from us is 100% Elite from the Elite factory in Bolton. All painted frames are protectively wrapped; all bases are aluminium and not steel; all fittings are stainless steel and only high tensile bolts are used. Please ensure you know what you are buying, and where it comes from!

Greenhouse glass, polycarbonate, bar capping and additional louvre windows can ONLY be delivered when ordered in conjunction with a greenhouse frame. Any Elite building OVER 20ft long will need an Internal Partition for support and this is inclusive. As a bespoke product we can supply any colour frame. Please advise the RAL code for the colour required and whether you require matt or gloss. We will then quote you. Delivery of RAL specified units will be 12 weeks.

All orders are acknowledged with a receipt of purchase and you will be contacted prior to delivery.

Delivery will normally be made within 28 working days from receipt of your order. Non standard and coloured framed buildings will take longer, please contact us if you require a better idea of timings.

Any problems relating to the product must be reported within 7 days from receipt of delivery.
Any claim being made must be supported by your receipt of purchase.

 Will you please help the Driver? Is your address hard to find or it is a house name? How do we find the property? Please give landmarks near the property: i.e. across the road from the pub; near the school; after the post box etc. Please put this information in the 'Customer Delivery Notes' box that you will see during the checkout process. If the answer is no, an alternative address and meeting place must be arranged before the greenhouse is scheduled for delivery. We are unable to carry goods through a house, because of the risk of damage to both people and property. The driver cannot be expected to walk more than approximately 50 yards.   You do not need to be home to accept delivery, if there is somewhere safe for the driver to leave the goods– he will.
